Admit it – you read the headline in Morgan Freeman’s voice, didn’t you? The 77-year old Oscar award-winning actor’s voice has been in everything from March Of The Penguins to The Lego Movie. Now, Morgan’s adding his voice to a new project: the movement to legalize marijuana! Morgan spoke about while he smokes marijuana in a new interview, adding why he there there’s no reason for the drug to be illegal anymore!

Morgan threw his support behind marijuana legalization in a May 6 article with The Daily Beast. The world knows Morgan for his distinctive voice and amazing acting talent. What they don’t know is that he is in constant pain, all due to a 2008 automobile accident that left his left shoulder, arm and elbow completely shattered! He reportedly still feels the effects of that horrible incident, and has found that smoking pot helps relief the pain.
“Marijuana has many useful uses. I have fibromyalgia pain [his left] arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana,” Morgan said. Though he’s currently a longtime user, it took some convincing to get the Bruce Almighty star to light up.
