Kim Kardashian turns back time with a retro outfit just like Cher

Only last week Cher seemingly suggested the Kardashians should be 'drop-kicked down the freeway'.

But it seems Kim Kardashian has taken the remarks - which the superstar singer later insisted had been taken out of context - with a pinch of salt.

The proof was in the pudding as Kim took some style inspiration from the Believe singer, stepping out in a full white flared outfit and white hat, reminiscent of a get-up Cher wore back in 1970.

Kim, 30, looked fantastic in the bell-bottoms as she left her New York hotel today.

Of course, Cher and Kim are supporting their respective family members on this season of Dancing With The Stars.

Kim's brother Rob and Cher's son Chaz Bono are both competing on the ABC show.

Last week, Cher put her foot in it, seemingly igniting some rivalry with the Kardashian clan via Twitter.

It started when she tweeted: 'Looking at show called "Bridezilla" chick named Rae Rae! I don't know ENOUGH Swear Words 4 This OBNOXIOUS B**** ! Run 4 yer Life Husband 2B.'

Soon she tweeted again, and seemed to be slating the famous family.

She said: 'I don't watch reality! Never saw a Kardashian but these B*****s should b Drop kicked down a freeway !Not kidding! Nos I no r this Fkn nuts.'

The garbled grammar and mention of the reality stars confused readers, with many thinking she was slating Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and the rest of the clan.

But she made a number of followup tweets as she tried to clear up the issue.

She replied to one user: 'Not K's! dont know them!' and told another: 'DONT Hate THEM dont know THEM'

But after receiving so many angry responses she made another separate post in an attempt to address the issue.

She said: 'Let me be clear! Am not Hate'n Kardashian Fam.Don't know them! Bridezilla's crazy b******!Saw Brother on DWTS & my friend told me bout girls.'

And she admitted she had blundered adding: 'By lovelies! Seems I put my Size8 1/2's in my mouth again!

'Isn't the 1st time Won't b the last !Sometimes I should run my words by my BRAIN.'

Cher may come face-to-face with the family next week when she will be attending Dancing With The Stars to support her son Chaz.

They could all be out in full force to cheer on Rob Kardashian, the youngest of the famous siblings.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, who have remained silent on a marriage split and reports of him cheating with blonde Sara Leal, both spent yesterday morning at the Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles. According to X17, the two arrived and left separately. Ashton “looked worried” while Demi left out of a side door to avoid being seen. Reports said the couple had been undergoing Kabbalah counseling in recent months. Their reps again stayed silent last night.

Brad Pitt is set to prove to the entire world that he didn’t mean any harm when he said in a magazine interview that his marriage to Jennifer Aniston had become “dull” right before he met Angelina Jolie. To do so, he’s reached out to Jen with a one-of-a-kind offer, it has emerged. 













Moreover, he wants her to know that he doesn’t think ill of her – so he’s offered her money for a group photo with himself, Jolie and Jen’s current beau Justin Theroux, the e-zine says, citing a report from InTouch Weekly.

“Brad is still upset that he shot his mouth off, insulting Jen and he’s willing to go far to make things right. He even wants to arrange a photo op of her and boyfriend Justin Theroux hanging out with him and Angelina Jolie!” HL writes. 

For said photo op, Brad is willing to pay big bucks – to Aniston’s favorite charity. This way, he believed, it would be a win-win situation.

“He offered to give a million dollars (€744,935) to the charity of Jen’s choice if she and Justin would do it. He wants to show the world he and Jen are on good terms,” an unnamed source says. 

While this would have been tabloid manna, it’s not going to happen, the same report argues. 

“Jen doesn’t want any part of it,” the same insider is quoted as saying.

Aniston seems to be taking the high road in this latest controversy, as we also reported a few days ago. 

At the premiere of the film “Five,” which she directed with a bunch of other A-listers, Aniston was asked how she’d respond to Brad’s comments on their marriage. 

“Oh, lord, it’s not even worth discussing on a night like this,” she told reporters. 

Demi Lovato Gives Thanks for Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez

Demi Lovato has been through a lot. The singer hasn't been shy about discussing these obstacles, as she hopes her experience will help other young girls struggling with low self-esteem.

In a new interview, meanwhile, Lovato goes out of her way to acknowledge a pair of famous friends who have helped her navigate through the tough times:

"I feel like there are some people that you're friends with that talk to you on Twitter or you text," she tell Billboard, "but the people that are really there for me are the people that were there for me when I went into treatment. The people that were calling me while I was in there were Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez. Those two girls, they meant the world to me. They still do."

Up next professionally for Lovato, she'll unleash"Who's That Boy" as the second single off "Unbroken." It will follow "Skyscraper," which shot to number-10 on the Hot 100 in July.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj has confessed that she is "beyond thrilled" to join Britney Spears on her upcoming US tour. 








The 'Girls Fall Like Dominoes' rapper wasconfirmed to join the all-female bill earlier this week as a replacement for Enrique Iglesias, who pulled out of the 26-date jaunt last month. 

"I am beyond thrilled to tour with Britney. It's an honour. She's an icon," she later told MTV News in a statement. "This summer will be one for the books!" 

Spears has said that she "can't wait" for Minaj to join her on the road, where Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will also perform. 

The 'Till The World Ends' singer also took to her Twitter page to express her excitement, writing: "Could not think of a sexier Femme Fatale than @NickiMinaj to come on tour with me! Gonna be a hot summer people! The #FemmeFataleBARBZ wont know what hit em. Ready or not people, here we come (sic)."

Minaj later responded in kind, adding: "This tour's gonna KICK ASS!!! The #FemmeFataleBARBZ r READY!!! Let's GO!!!"

Rihanna called Britney Spears "one of the biggest worldwide popstars" after the duo teamed up for a remix of the R&B star's hit single 'S&M', reports Billboard. Rihanna tweeted a message to Britney to praise her for appearing on the highly anticipated collaboration that premiered earlier today (11th April 2011).

The new remix features the pop divas trading lines from 'S&M's' original chorus but also sees Britney Spears singing an entirely new second verse. The 29-year-old sings, "If I'm bad, tie me down. Shut me up, gag and bound me, cause the pain is my pleasure, nothing comes better". The remix comes as both stars are riding high in the Billboard 200 chart. Spears' new album 'Femme Fatale' recently debuted at No. 1, while Rihanna's original version of 'S&M' currently sits at No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart. Shortly before the remix hit the airwaves, Rihanna took to her Twitter page to tell Spears she is "one of the biggest worldwide popstars!" Britney replied with, "You ain't so bad yourself honey".
Rihanna is set to perform live at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on 22nd May 2011. Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban will also be taking to the stage at the star-studded ceremony.

Celebrity Apprentice

Star Jones was uncharacteristically quiet on Sunday's Celebrity Apprentice, standing by, along with Marlee Matlin and Hope Dworaczyk, as NeNe Leakes attacked La Toya Jackson.

Jackson was project manager of the night, and Donald Trump asked Leakes about Jackson in the board room, prompting a disagreement between the two women.
 

 "The only reason you've gotten this far is because of your last name," Leakes said to Jackson, adding,

"Don't ever try me like that! I worked my ... off while you sat there and looked like Casper the Ghost. Listen here, Casper," Leakes said. "You are very old and you need to play your age and not 12. You are an old lady."

 Jones tells PopEater's Rob Shuter that she stopped herself from chiming in.

"You never get involved in a pig fight," Star says of Leakes. "If you do, three things happen: you get dirty, you get tired, and only the pig has fun. It diminishes me to talk about her. I have so many other things going on in my life."


Star says that when things get heated on Apprentice, she has to stop herself from really going off. "In my heart, I think 'pray, don't act crazy, your grandmother is watching, your sorority sisters are watching, you were raised better than this.'"

Paris Hilton sued for keeping jewellery

Paris Hilton is being sued for not returning $60,000 worth of borrowed jewellery.

The hotel heiress was given the expensive gems from upmarket jewellers Damiani, but they were stolen as part of a $2.8 million raid at her Los Angeles home in December 2009.

Last year, police recovered all the pieces of jewellery taken from her house, but, according a lawsuit filed by German insurance giant Allianz, Paris has still failed to return the items.

The suit states: "Despite having recovered Damiani's jewellery, [Hilton has] failed to return all of the jewellery to Damiani as required by the Agreements."

In 2007, Damiani loaned Paris $60,000 of jewellery to wear for public appearances and as part of the deal, she agreed to stash the valuables in a safe or a vault whenever she wasn't wearing it.

The suit claims she did none of that and often left her mansion's front door unlocked and its alarm system turned off.

It stated: "On Friday, December 18, 2009, in the early morning hours, Ms. Hilton left her mansion and attended a party at Bar Delux in Hollywood, California. At some point that night, the Damiani jewellery was placed in Ms. Hilton's closet and not in the safe as required by the Agreements.

"On December 18, 2009, Ms. Hilton left the front door to her mansion unlocked. Like the front door, Ms. Hilton also left the safe unlocked that was supposed to be used to secure the loaned Damiani jewellery."

According to the New York Daily News newspaper, the suit claims a man in a hooded sweatshirt then strolled in through the front door and took off with $2.8 million of jewellery that was "sitting in plain sight" in Paris' closet.

Paris' spokesperson refused to comment.
