Rosie O'donnell Says She Has A New Girlfriend

Rosie O'Donnell, U.S. comedian and TV personality, she is in love with a 40-year-old woman she met at a coffee shop a few months ago.
O'Donnell, 49, told People.com she is happily dating IT headhunter Michelle Rounds.
"I did not expect it when I met her at Starbucks," O'Donnell said.
"She didn't look like any lesbian I'd ever met," she added. "But it's fun and very exciting."
O'Donnell, who has four children with her ex-wife, went on to say she is in menopause and hormone replacement therapy is helping her manage her mood, UPI.com reported.
"I'm in menopause, and I've been having really bad hot flashes," she told People.com. "[My therapist] said, [it's] because you're also in love. It's like you're a withering rose and the petals are falling off and all of sudden you bloom again. For me, it's made a drastic difference."
O'Donnell's new chat series "The Rosie Show" is to premiere Monday on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this, Rosie said. When Oprah Winfrey initially approached O’Donnell about taking over her studio, the concept was for a single-issue, hour-long series like “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
“I thought, ‘Let’s do what [Winfrey] did and with [her] staff,” O’Donnell said from an office at Harpo Studios.
She originally planned to record 20 shows a week in Chicago and live in New York three weeks a month. Her oldest son is at military school (his choice, she said), and she and her ex, Kelli Carpenter, share custody of their other three children.
“I never knew anything about Chicago,” she said.
“It seems as though so many things are falling into place synchronicity-wise. I think chapter two will be in Chicago.”
