38 frozen cats in man's freezer

NEW ZEALAND: A 77-year-old man has been charged with extreme cruelty to animals after police authorities found 38 cats wrapped, frozen and stored in his freezer next to his food.
The SPCA officials also found 19 cats roaming around freely in his home, 17 locked in unhygenic cages and another 23 in 'a fly-infested downstairs unit', reports Herald Sun.
The so-called cat lover told the authorities that the cats were kept in the freezer for at least three years as he did not have time to give them proper burial..
